Not every owner needs a full team assembled from scratch. If you already have a design team, FF&E group, or GC in place, SCG steps in to represent your interests throughout construction — overseeing budget, schedule, and quality on your behalf, and handling large single-vendor procurement directly to avoid markup stacked on markup.
Single-Trade & Vendor Procurement
For big-ticket items like FF&E, elevators, or specialty systems, we solicit quotes and manage the hire directly on ownership's behalf — no GC markup stacked on top of vendor markup.
Owner's Representation
We attend OAC meetings and act as ownership's advocate on site — flagging problems, asking the right questions, and making sure decisions get made with construction reality in mind, not just the GC's version of events.
Budget & Schedule Oversight
Independent tracking of the GC's pay applications and schedule updates against the approved budget — so ownership has a second set of eyes on the numbers, not just the GC's own reporting.
Punch Walks & Quality Control
Final inspections and punch list management to make sure work is complete and correct before final payment is released.
